The Wedding Salon Bridal Expo

November 26, 2013 / Jpogash / Uncategorized / No Comments

Earlier this month the Wedding Cocktail Design/The Cocktail Guru team set up shop at Metropolitan Pavillion for the Wedding Salon Bridal Expo.

We had a great crowd, and mixed up some terrific specialty wedding cocktails.

Our lovely bar, designed and built by Flowerful Events, was the perfect fit for what we were doing.

Pics are below.

Check us out in Jan and Feb at the Southern New England Bridal Expo and Newport Wedding Expo.  We’re busy wedding cocktail bees!

Thank you to our brand partners:

Monin Gourmet Flavorings, Wild Hibiscus Flower Co.., POM Wonderful, The King’s Ginger, Luxardo, Anchor Distilling Co., Van Gogh Vodka, Molinari Sambuca Extra, Bellinda Prosecco, Vision Wine & Spirits, and The Edrington Group

The Newport Wedding Expo

February 28, 2012 / Jpogash / Uncategorized / No Comments

Two weekends ago we participated in arguably THE best wedding show in the Northeast – the Newport Wedding Expo.

Two breathtaking locations were host to this event, Rosecliff Manor and OceanCliff Resort.  Wedding Cocktail Design was at OceanCliff, one of the most spectacular resorts and views in all of Rhode Island.

Our lovely and talented hostess (and wedding show planner extraordinaire), Susanne Day, editor of Newport Weddings Magazine, made us feel right at home at our booth.

Being featured at our booth were an array of signature wedding cocktails and spirits, to show off what we can do at Wedding Cocktail Design.  As an added bonus, Jeffrey Pogash, Master Saberer, was on hand with his reproduction Napoleonic sword and magnums of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne, to show what he can do at weddings, rehearsal dinners, and showers.

The other vendors at the show were top-notch, from Rhode Island’s most elite photographers, to unique invitation designers, to fabulous wedding planners.  Oh, and we can’t forget the desserts.  The desserts.  Those decadent, sinfully rich treats that haunt us (and follow us like stalkers), to each and every wedding show we participate in.  The key is moderation, and we were good this time.  We only exchanged cocktail samples for 2 (or so) chocolate bon-bons and mini wedding cake desserts.

The brides, grooms, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and friends of the bride/groom who attended were genuinely interested in our services.  We tried our best to explain what we do, and attempted to “wow” them with our cocktail samples.  What, you may ask, did we serve?  The names and descriptions are below, as well as a pictorial tour of our day in wedding show bliss…
